DESCRIPTION:Curious about mountain biking but not sure where to start? Join us for a beginner-friendly\, no-drop ride at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area! This ride is designed for riders who are new to mountain biking or looking to build confidence on the trails. No one will be left behind\, and experienced riders will be there to help along the way. \nWe’ll kick things off at the Bike Library (1222 S. Gilbert Ct.) with tips\, skills practice\, and a chance to get comfortable on your bike before riding over to the Terry Trueblood singletrack trails. \nSchedule \n\n4:30 p.m. – Mountain biking tips and skills practice at the Bike Library\n5:00 p.m. – Group ride to Terry Trueblood\nPost-ride – Hang out at Big Grove\n\nDon’t have a mountain bike? We’ve got you covered! The Bike Library will have mountain bikes available to borrow for participants. \nWhat to bring: \n\nHelmet (required)\nWater\nGloves and long sleeves are encouraged for added comfort and protection on the trails.

DESCRIPTION:Every Wednesday (April 22 – October 14) meet at SBB for Wednesday Night Gravel. Meet at 5:50pm. Roll out at 6:10pm. There will be three groups: A\, B\, and C. Groups leave SBB @ ~1min intervals. Ride ends at Field Day Brewing (optional). Read an overview of the three groups below. Visit Sugar Bottom Bike’s website for full details for each group and to sign up to lead or sweep. Ride Leaders and Sweepers also earn $10 store credit per ride! \nC Group (Casual) \n\nNo Drop Ride w/ sweeper. Beginner and youth friendly.\nRide distance ~16-20 miles (uses parts of A/B route but shorter loop)\nPace 12.5mph average. Conversational pace.\n\nB Group (Tempo) \n\nDrop Ride w/ sweeper if available\nRide distance 27-33 miles (same route as A Group)\nPace 15mph average +/-.5mph\n\nA Group (Threshold) \n\nDrop Ride no sweeper\nRide distance 27-33 miles\nPace 17.5mph average +/- 1mph
