11th Annual Ride 4 Youth

Ride 4 Youth is an annual charity bike ride in Iowa City that offers individuals and families several routes to choose from – with rest stops, water, and snacks along the way. After the ride, a celebration with food and music is held at the Terry Trueblood Lodge. Each year, the ride is coordinated by a group of volunteer med students who are part of the Lois Boulware Learning Community at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. 100% of all Ride 4 Youth proceeds support youth and families at United Action for Youth (UAY). Ride 4 Youth is supported by our presenting sponsor, United Iowa Financial with additional support from World of Bikes.
United Action for Youth (UAY) has been providing support to youth and families in Johnson County since 1970. UAY is a local, youth organization that provides mental health, advocacy, stable housing and enrichment programs for young people throughout the Corridor. UAY’s mission is to nurture the potential of all youth to CREATE, GROW & SUCCEED.
